Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Spool Hoarder application (the "App"), website, account services, and related cloud functionality provided by Middlepath Labs, LLC ("Middlepath Labs," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using Spool Hoarder, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Platform Terms

The store or platform through which you receive the App can impose additional terms.

• Apple App Store: Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to App Store downloads unless a different license is presented by Apple. It is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. If these Terms conflict with that agreement for an Apple download, Apple's agreement controls to the extent of the conflict.
• Google Play: Google Play's applicable user, payment, subscription, and refund terms also apply to an Android purchase.
• Microsoft Store: Microsoft's applicable store, payment, subscription, and refund terms also apply to a Windows purchase.

Your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law are not limited by these Terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Spool Hoarder processes information.

Accounts and Cloud Features

An account is optional for core local features but can be required for synchronization, subscriptions, purchase restoration, AI credits, or other cloud functionality.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method and devices secure and for activity performed through your account. Provide accurate information and tell us promptly if you believe an account or purchase has been used without permission.

Cloud synchronization is a convenience feature and does not replace your own backups. Keep an export or backup of important inventory and project information.

Subscriptions

Spool Hoarder can offer an automatically renewing Pro subscription. The available term, price, currency, trial, included features, and renewal details are shown in the App and by the applicable storefront before purchase.

The storefront processes payment and manages renewal. Unless you cancel through that storefront before its stated deadline, the subscription can renew and the storefront can charge the payment method associated with your store account. Manage or cancel the subscription through Apple, Google Play, or Microsoft, depending on where you purchased it.

Deleting your Spool Hoarder account or uninstalling the App does not cancel a storefront subscription.

Features and included AI-credit amounts can vary by platform, plan, or offer. The current purchase screen controls when it differs from general marketing material.

Trials and Promotions

A storefront can offer a free trial, introductory price, promotional offer, or redemption code. Eligibility, conversion to a paid subscription, and any effect on unused trial time are governed by the terms shown with that offer and the storefront's rules.

AI Credits and Consumable Purchases

Spool Hoarder can offer consumable credits for eligible cloud AI features, including scanning or order import. The applicable storefront processes paid credit packs.

Credits:

• Are a limited license to use eligible App functionality, not money or stored value
• Cannot be sold, transferred, or redeemed for cash
• Can require an account or anonymous account association for validation and accounting
• Can be affected by refunds, chargebacks, fraud prevention, or technical corrections

We do not guarantee that every AI request will produce a usable result. The App's displayed purchase and credit rules apply to the specific offer.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancel subscriptions through the storefront where you purchased them. Cancellation normally stops future renewal but does not itself create a refund for the current period.

Apple, Google, or Microsoft handles refund requests for purchases it processed, subject to that storefront's rules and applicable law. Contact support@middlepathlabs.com if you need information to identify a purchase or resolve an entitlement problem.

Nothing in these Terms removes a refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other remedy that applicable consumer law requires.

Your Content and Responsibilities

You retain rights in inventory records, project information, photos, files, support messages, and other content you provide. You grant Middlepath Labs and its service providers the limited permission needed to process that content to provide the feature you request.

You are responsible for reviewing data you enter, import, scan, synchronize, or share and for having the right to submit it.

You must not:

• Use Spool Hoarder for unlawful or harmful activity
• Attempt to bypass subscription, entitlement, credit, security, or rate-limit controls
• Interfere with the service or another person's use of it
• Probe or access accounts, systems, or data without authorization
• Submit malicious code or content that infringes another person's rights

AI and Extracted Information

AI-generated, OCR-derived, barcode-derived, catalog, cost, and other automatically extracted information can be incomplete or wrong. Review results before saving or relying on them.

Spool Hoarder is an inventory and planning tool. It does not provide professional, safety, tax, accounting, or legal advice. You remain responsible for printer settings, material handling, purchase decisions, records, and other actions based on App output.

Suspension and Termination

You can stop using the service and can delete your Spool Hoarder cloud account through the available deletion process.

We can restrict or suspend access to account or cloud functionality when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, fraud, abuse, security risk, material violation of these Terms, provider requirements, or legal obligations. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will try to provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue.

Account suspension or deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription controlled by a storefront. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including payment obligations, warranty limitations, and responsibility for misuse, remain in effect.

Availability and Changes

Features can depend on platform support, device permissions, network access, third-party services, account status, subscription status, credits, or backend availability. We can update, add, restrict, suspend, or discontinue functionality as the product and its dependencies change.

We do not promise that the App, cloud services, or third-party data will always be uninterrupted, compatible, accurate, or available. We will not intentionally remove mandatory consumer rights.

Warranty and Liability

Spool Hoarder is provided subject to the warranties and remedies required by applicable law and any controlling storefront license. To the extent the law permits, the service is otherwise provided "as is" and "as available" without additional warranties.

To the extent permitted by law, Middlepath Labs is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, unavailable features, inaccurate AI or catalog results, or failure to maintain an independent backup. This limitation does not apply where applicable law does not allow it, including liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to These Terms

We can update these Terms when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above. If applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it.
